Beverly Ann Garred Bailey, 78, of Graham, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2026, surrounded by the comfort of her family.
Born on May 31, 1948, in Jackson, Michigan, Beverly lived a life marked by devotion, resilience, and a deep love for her family. She was known for her fiery spirit—passionate, strong-willed, and full of life—and for the way she made others feel valued and loved. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, and she treasured every moment with her spouse, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Elsie Garred, and her siblings, Paul Garred, Richard Garred, and Nancy Young.
Beverly is survived by her beloved spouse, King Krueger; her daughters, Melissa Taylor and Bessie Bailey; her son-in-law, Travis Cotton; her siblings, Larry Garred and Mark Garred; and her cherished grandchildren, Makayla Parrish, Brett Taylor, Kennedy Taylor, and Makenna Parrish, as well as her great-grandchild, Karsyn Parrish.
Those who knew Beverly will remember her quick wit, quiet strength, compassionate heart, and fiery spirit. She found joy in life's simple moments—spending time with her family, watching her grandchildren and great-grandchild grow, enjoying the outdoors, and traveling up north to the cabin on Paradise Lake, where she loved sitting on the deck and taking in the view. Through life's challenges, she met each one with courage and grace, leaving behind a lasting example of perseverance and steadfast devotion. Though her family grieves the loss of her physical presence, they take comfort in knowing that her warmth, wisdom, and resilience will remain with them always. Beverly will be deeply missed and forever remembered, and her love, lessons, and memories will live on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchild, and all whose lives she touched.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Beverly's honor.
In keeping with her wishes, Beverly will be cremated, and no memorial service will be held.
