Billie Faye (Moore) Smith

Billie Faye Moore Smith, passed away unexpectedly on July 17, 2020.

She was born on April 9, 1940 and spent her life in Alamance County.  She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Coy Smith; her daughter Denise Smith Dorr and her husband Barry.  Preceded in death by her parents Walter and Nurtie Ray Moore, a sister Cathy Ann Moore, and a brother Kenneth Moore.

Other survivors include a sister Mary Glen Moore Preddy; two grandchildren Kelli Dorr Williams and husband Joshua, Brent Dorr and wife Heather; four great grandchildren Luke Williams, Zachary Williams, Jacob Williams, Violet Dorr.

She was an avid gardener and reader, animal lover, master quilter and baker.  She found joy in her volunteer time with Hospice of Alamance County.   As a wife, mother and MiMi, she was cherished by her family and will be forever in their hearts.
