Bobbie Jean Ursery

Mrs. Bobbie Jean Ballard Ursery, 77, passed away Sunday January 25th, 2015 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. She retired from General Electric in Mebane after 15 years. Bobbie loved to cook, enjoy gardening, playing games on the computer, and socializing on Facebook. She was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her daughters- Karen McClintock & husband Ted, Stephanie Hicks & husband Don; grandsons- Brandon Moore & fiancé Shanne Leach, Steven Stovall & wife Mandy, Taylor Hicks; great granddaughters- Haize Moore and Kaylie Moore; sister- Betty Smith; brothers- Gene Ballard, Jack Ballard, Ronnie Ballard, Lewis “Boot” Ballard; and special furry friend- Tinkerbell. She is preceded in death by her husband- Ted Steve Ursery; parents- Lewis & Lilly Ballard; brothers- Earl Ballard, Otis Ballard, Max Ballard; sisters- Nell Edwards, Ruth Garrett, and Becky Murphy; special furry friend- Abby Bell. A service will be conducted on Wednesday January 28th at 2:00PM at McClure Funeral Chapel in Graham with Rev. Mike Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Moore’s Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00- 2:00 prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
