Haw River Bobby Cicero Allen, 74, of 113 First Street, Haw River died Tuesday, June 17 at the Hospice Home in Burlington. He was a native of Alamance County, retired cook and a member of Haw River United Methodist Church. He was also a 32 degree Mason, a Shriner and a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose. He was preceded in death by his parents, Simon Cicero and Mildred Sarah Gattis Allen. He is survived by his wife, Ann Lloyd Allen of the home; daughters, Tammy Paul and Husband Mike of Burlington, Jan Allen and husband Mitch Misenheimer of Rockwell, Melinda Martin of Whitsett; sister, Peggy Harden and husband John of Haw River; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday at Haw River United Methodist Church by Rev. Jeanne Neal. Burial will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Graham 6-8 Thursday night, other times at the residence.
