HAW RIVER - Bobby Wayne Davis, 60, of Haw River died Friday, August 14. He was a native of Alamance County and retired as a truck driver. He was preceded in death by his parents, Al and Alma Dillard Davis and a brother, Jimmy Davis, Leroy Davis and Ricky Davis.He is survived by his wife, Deborah Fields Davis; children, Robert Davis (Lisa) and Beverly Davis; step children, Jason Ivey, Jonie Ivey and Jennifer Welsh; brothers; Ralph Davis, Roger Davis (Jan), and Gerald Davis (Catherine); sisters, Hazel Shepherd, Virginia Durham (David), Judy Davis, Brenda Davis (Billy) and Linda George (Bill); 5 grandchildren, special granddaughter, Ariel "Booger Bear" Welsh and 1 great grandson.Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday at McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham by Rev. Walter Jones. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 – 3:00 before the service and other times at 1354 Terrywood Road, Lot 101, Haw River and 4264 Gilliam Church Road, Gibsonville.
