Bobby Charles Hightower

Bobby Charles Hightower, 83, of Mebane died Friday, April 15, 2016 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. He was a native of Alamance County, a retired contractor, a member of Mebane United Methodist Church and a US Army medic during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Correnna Jobe Hightower; Son, Charles Terrone Hightower; Sister, Florence Abernathy and brother, Billy Hightower. He is survived by his daughter, Tammy Edens and husband Buddy of Mebane; brother, Jim Hightower of Greenville, MS; sister, Nell Copley of Richmond, VA A service to celebrate his life will be held 2:00 PM Monday at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane by Rev. Johnny Wright. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 – 2:00 Monday before the service.
