Bobby Wayne Moize Sr.

Mr. Bobby Wayne Moize Sr. 72 of Burlington, NC passed away on December 20, 2022 at the Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington. A native of Alamance Co. NC he was the son of the late Turner “Pete” and Margaret Shambley Moize. Bobby was an avid outdoorsman and he loved to fish. He enjoyed watching wrestling and listing to his oldies music. Survivors include his loving daughter, Crystal Mercado; his sons, Bobby Wayne Moize Jr. and wife Karen, and Marty Moize; his grandchildren, Destiny, Maya, Miguel, and Willy Jr.; his great grandson, Atlas; sisters, Sandra Jones, Brenda Moize and Vivian Eastwood. IN addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Shirley Moize, Judy Truitt, Hazel Sanders, Christine King, Mildred “Mickey” Walters, and Mary Catherine Moize; and a brother, Junior Moize and a son-in-law, Willy Mercado Sr. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday December 27, 2022 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham with burial to follow in Bethlehem Presbyterian Church Cemetery. There will be no public visitation. McClure Funeral Service in Graham is assisting the family.
