Brenda Carolyn Boggs

GRAHAM - Brenda Carolyn Garner Boggs, 63, of Graham, passed away Sunday, Jan. 4, 2015, at Duke University Medical Center.Carolyn was born in Alamance County and was a homemaker. She attended Bible Baptist Church. She played piano for Piedmont Baptist Church for many years and also played for Bible Baptist Church.She is survived by her husband, Fred Douglas Boggs of the home; daughter, Keeley Melissa Boggs of Charlotte, N.C.; a son, Brian Douglas Boggs and his son Jake, both of Wilmington.She was preceded in death by her parents, William Baxter Garner and Ruby Bundren Garner.A funeral service will be held Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015, at 2 p.m. in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham. Officiating will be the Rev. J. Mark Aheron. Burial will follow in Cedar Cliff United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 Wednesday evening at McClure Funeral Home in Graham.The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family or to the charity of your choice.
