Brenda Flood

It is with great sadness to announce that Brenda Flood at age 62 passed away from a long fight with cancer. On May 29, 2018 at her home in Graham. At the time she went to join the Lord she was surrounded by her family. Brenda was born on May 20, 1956 in Alamance County to the late Kalsie and Beaulah Porter Mansfield. Surviving members of family, sister Peggy, sister Shirley and brother Melvin. She was a member of Faith Tabernacle Baptist Church. She loved being with her family and traveling with them. Brenda will be lovingly remembered by her loving husband of 44 years Richard. She was a loving mother of 3 children, Richard Flood, Jr. and wife Trish of Burlington, Joey Flood and wife Kristina of Burlington, and Kimberly Freeman and husband Jason of Oak Island. A loving grandmother to Bradley, Joey, Austin, Matthew, Nick and Chris. A loving Great Grandmother to Brantley. A funeral service will be held Sunday, June 3, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham. Officiating will be Rev. Steve Sykes. Burial will follow in Phillips Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
