Brenda Mae Soots

Ms. Brenda Mae Soots, 75, went into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on January 25, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Minnie Wilson. To know Brenda was to instantly love her. She was the most loving, caring, and compassionate person you would ever want to meet.  Brenda was a Christian and shared the gospel with everyone she met. Brenda was godsent to her family and was a remarkable Mom and Me-Maw. Any time you would see Brenda, she would always let everyone know how much she loved God, her daughter, and her grandchildren.  She will be missed by her family each and every day.

Brenda is survived by her daughter, Melanie McCormick and her grandchildren, Zachary and Madeline McCormick, who loved her with all of their hearts.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2023, at 3:00pm at McClure Funeral Home in Graham, officiated by Pastor Scott London and Pastor Daniel Gregory. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 2:30pm. Burial will follow the service at Bellemont United Methodist Church.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Hospice for their exceptional care of Ms. Soots and also the staff at McClure Funeral Home for their compassion and care.

To our loving Mom and Me-Maw, we will meet you in Heaven one day where the roses never fade.
