Brian Andrew Lundgren

Brian A. Lundgren passed away peacefully Friday, September 8, 2017 in Mebane, North Carolina. He was born October 29, 1956 in Duluth to Vernon and May Lundgren. He was a 1975 graduate of Duluth East High School. He attended the US Air Force Academy and received his Bachelor’s degree from the College of Saint Scholastica. Very knowledgeable on main frame computers, Brian worked as a Network Engineer for Minnesota Power and Light in Duluth before moving on to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN; JB Hunt in Rogers, AR; and, since 2009 with G&B Solutions supporting the Social Security Administration in North Carolina. In North Carolina, he met and married the love of his life, Tina Webster, on September 7, 2013. He had a servant’s heart, and his compassion for others was reflected in his various endeavors over many years from Habitat for Humanity, support for local food drives, to culminating in his final wish of organ donation. He was preceded in death by his parents. Brian is survived by his wife, Tina Lundgren; Step-daughter Elise Donoho; brothers, Darryl (Kathleen) of Woodbridge, Virginia and John of Reardan, Washington; and several nieces and nephews. Following cremation, a Celebration of Life visitation/reception will be held on Saturday, September 23, 1:00 – 3:00, at McClure Funeral Service in Mebane, North Carolina.
