BURLINGTON, N.C. - Bridget Conroy Hanner, 75, of 1216 Carlton Avenue, died Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013 at her daughter's residence.Bridget was born in Dublin, Ireland. She was a former Crafts instructor at Piedmont Central Nursing Home. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening and taking care of her family.She is survived by her children; daughter, Kelly (Schell Simpson) Hanner of Pittsboro, N.C.; sons, Richard Brian Hanner of Burlington and Terrence Patrick Hanner of Sanford, N.C.; grandchildren, Padraig "Paddy" Hanner and Rory Joseph Hanner; and brother, Thomas Conroy of Switzerland.She was preceded in death by her husband, Terrence Edward Hanner; parents, George Conroy Sr. and Bridget Nolan Conroy; sister, Maria Forsberg; and brother, George Conroy.The funeral mass will be held Friday, Oct. 4, 2013 at noon at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church officiated by the Rev. Paul Gabriel, OFM. Conv. Burial will follow in Alamance Memorial Park.The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Graham from 6 until 8 Thursday evening.
