Bruce Parker Roney 82 of Swepsonville passed away on Wednesday June 18 surrender by his family. Bruce was born March 25 1943 to Ed and Nina Roney. Surviving family members include his brother Van Roney (Ann), daughters Tammy Scott (Scotty) Tammy Madren (Gerald) great grandson Ayden , Cynthia “Candy” Ridgeway (Curtis) Ronald “Frosty” Bowers (Rhonda). Grandchildren and great grandchildren Brittany Ridgeway (Ryann) McKenzie & McKinley. Kimberlee Ridgeway (Willie) Kamdyn & Kalahni. Michael Shepherd (Monica) Xavier. Jody Wrenn(Courtney) Skylar & Cody. Deedra Greeson (Steven) Kaleb,Gavin,&Tinley. Crystal Robertson (Jason) Connor, Gage, Sofia, & Sierra and loving nieces and nephews. Preceded in death other than parents wife Rebecca “Peggy” Roney and great granddaughter McKaylyn LeGrande. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday June 23, 2025 at Swepsonville Baptist Church with the Pastor Steve McGowan officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday at the Church.
