Burita "Rita" Surratt

Burita Stanley “Rita” Surratt, 80 of Boydton, VA passed away Thursday, September 26, 2023 at The Hundley Center in South Hill , VA.  Rita was born in Dickinson County, VA.  She was a homemaker, she loved to cook, chat with friends and family, go fishing, watch reality tv, and she was always cleaning.

Rita is survived by her sons, Eric D. Honaker and his wife Amber and Dennis W. Surratt. Grandchildren, Samantha, Andrew, Alivia, Amber. She had two great grandchildren. She is also survived by four siblings.

Rita was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Luther Surratt Jr.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 12:00pm in Efland United Methodist Church Cemetery.  (New Cemetery)
