Dr. Carl Glenn Pickard Jr.

Dr.(ret.) Carl Glenn Pickard, Jr. of Prospect Hill died Sunday, March 6, 2022. He was loved and admired by many.  He will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Glenn Pickard, Sr., Mother, Almeda Jackson Pickard, his wife Rebecca Wilson Pickard. He is survived by children; Mary Gwen Phillips (Ron), Lynn Pickard Sasser (Scott), Walter Pickard (Melissa) and Chris Pickard (Rami); Grandchildren, Caitlyn, Ryan (Catherine), Patrick Phillips. Ruby and Daniel Sasser, Elijah and Iris Pickard, Raegan and Hudson Pickard and Laura S. Wilson, sister in law. Special buddies, Doc and Pic. Glenn was affiliated with UNC Chapel Hill for many years.  He was instrumental in starting The Prospect Hill Medical Clinic and the Nurse Practitioner program. He touched the lives of many. There will be a private memorial service at a later time.
