Carmelo Alberto Nino

Carmelo Alberto Nino, 69, of Mebane passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021. He was a native of Tula, Mexico, was employed as a roofer for 37 years, served in the Mexican Army and was of the Catholic Faith. He was preceded in death by his mother, Florencia Gallegos.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Hammershoy Nino of the home; daughter, Florencia Renee Hernandez and husband Vicente of the home; son, Carmelo Nicolas Nino of Raleigh; brother, Nicolas Nino of Mexico; sister, Margarita Arriega DeLaRosa of Mexico; grandchildren, Alejandro Alberto Nino, David Anthony Grams, Monica Lee Grams, Emilio Silverio Hernandez; great grandchild, Easton Grams.

A service celebrating his life will be 11:00 AM Saturday at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane by Pastor Darrell Moser. Burial will follow in Mebane Memorial Gardens.
