Carole Ann (Jarrett) Tate

Mrs. Carole Ann Jarrett Tate, formerly of Graham, NC and Greenville, SC passed away on December 24, 2022 at Trinity Village in Hickory, NC. Carole was born on July 11, 1941 to the late S. Marshall Jarrett and E. French Cook Jarrett. She was the wife of the late Richard A. Tate. Survivors include her son, Richard A. “Rick” Tate and wife Sylvia; granddaughters, Jennifer Johnson and Tabitha Tate; a great granddaughter, Zoie Rennick; sisters, Melba Isley and husband, Joe, Amy Jarrett, and Marsha Holt and husband Fred; two nieces, one nephew, and numerous cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, Carole was preceded in death by her sister, Elvia “Kaye” Gardner. A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham with Pastor Darrell Moser officiating. Burial will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
