Carolyn Joyce Epperson

Mebane Carolyn Joyce Fox Epperson, 85, of Mebane died Wednesday, February 8 at the residence of her step daughter, Teresa E. Foust and husband Glenn where she had made her home for the past 11 years. She was a native of Orange County, Retired from Western Electric with 38 years of service and a lifelong member of Burlington Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, William T. “Bill” Pugh; 2nd husband, Maywood “Woody” Epperson and sister, Minnie Sue Fox. In addition to her stepdaughter and husband, she is survived by her brother William H. “Bill” Fox and wife Sadie; sisters, Mary Jo Fox Conner and husband Claude and Francis Lane Huffines and husband George; step mother, Frances McBroom Davis Fox; step brother, Glenn fox; many nieces and nephews and best friends, Betty Jean (Maw Maw) and Evelyn Epperson (Nana). A service to celebrate her life will be held 2:00 PM Saturday at McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane by Pastor Howard Thompson.
