Carolyn Harris Lunsford

Carolyn Harris Lunsford, 77 passed away on Friday, July 31st, 2026 at her home in Mebane. Carolyn was born in Caswell County, she was the daughter of the late Dailey Ennis Harris and Rena Daniel’s Harris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her best friend and father of her son, Jimmy Lunsford.

Carolyn was retired from G.E. She loved cooking for her family it was more of a hobby to her. She loved to go to the casino and play the slot machine. Carolyn was full of love which she gave to us all.

Surviving is her son, Mark Lunsford and her grandson, Justin Britt of Mebane. Her adopted daughter Jackie Ke-a of the home. She is survived by one brother Dailey E. Harris Jr. (Amee) of Hyco Lake. Her niece Jennifer Hall (Craig) of Mebane. Jacob, Mason, Madelyn Turner which were her great nephews and great niece. She will also be missed by numerous extended family. 

There service to honor Carolyn’s life will be held Wednesday August 5, 2026 at 1pm with visitation before at 12pm at Lea Bethel Baptist Church in Prospect Hill with the Rev. Mike Nichols officiating ( Carolyn’s cousin). In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Lea Bethel Baptist Church.
