Carolyn Marie (Pore) Jones

Carolyn Pore Jones died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on June 4th at the age of 61. She fought a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer but always kept a smile on her face. Carolyn was born in Alamance county and resided in Mebane, NC her entire life. She worked for ITG Brands formerly known as Lorillard Tobacco. Carolyn was a loving mother and had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren.  She loved spending time with her family and shopping. Carolyn had a love for Hello Kitty that will live on through everyone she knew.  She was a God fearing woman and kept her faith until her last breath.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmie Roberts Pore and mother, Betty Jean Fulcher Pore.

She is survived by her children: Chelsea Marie McLaughlin and Husband DJ, Kailyn Brianna Jones and fiance Jose Frausto. Her grandchildren: Kynzlee McLaughlin, Kameron McLaughlin and Layla Frausto. Her sisters: Debbie Pore Crozier and Angela Suzzanne Pore.

A celebration of life will be held at Tabernacle Baptist Church (523 N Charles St, Mebane, NC 27302) on Saturday, June 8th at 11a.m. The family will receive family and friends prior to the service from 10am till 11am at the church.
