Carolyn Colley Roper

Carolyn Colley Roper, 71, of Mebane unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2020. She was born on August 10, 1948, grew up in Hillsborough and attended Orange High School. She moved to Mebane a few years ago to be close to family. She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly (Eric); son, Mark and her loving grandson, Dillon, and granddaughter, Shelby. Also surviving are sisters, Barbara Howerton (Frank), Deb McCallum (Ted Maynor) and her brother, Mike Colley; sister in law, Anette Allen and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hoke M.  and Eloise H. Colley and nephew, Todd Crabtree.

A service to celebrate Carolyn’s life will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Faith Baptist Church, 5100 West Ten Road, Efland, NC by Pastor Frank Howerton. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. Online condolences may be sent to www.mcclurefuneralservice.net
