Caryn Peterson Smith

Mrs. Caryn Beth Smith, 56, of 2149 Groundwater Place, Raleigh, NC, passed away on May 5, 2015 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. She is the daughter of Harry L. Peterson and Elizabeth A. Petersen, who survive of Dunwoody, GA. She was a financial Technician with the United State Government Department of Defense. She was a member of The New Creation Assembly of God Church in Virginia Beach, VA. In addition to her parents, she is survived by Husband, Ronald Keith Smith; daughters, Kathryn Milton and husband Benjamin, Megan Luckey and husband Lance, Sarah Canclini and spouse Shelby; son, Adam Kyle Smith Sr. and wife Summer; grandchildren, Mackinsie Milton, Skyler Sharp-Simmers, Jayden Luckey, Seth Luckey, Adam “AJ” Smith, Caleb Smith, Victoria Ostling, Autumn Ostling, and granddaughter due in June, Piper Eliana Canclini; sisters, Susie Stainback and husband Erwin, Gail Warren and husband Rod, Debbie Atkinson and husband Chuck; brother, Ronald Petersen and wife Darlene. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at the New Creation Assembly of God at 4933 Rutherford Rd. Virginia Beach, VA, 23455 with the Rev. Mark Ackerman and Rev. Jerry Qualls Officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. McClure Funeral and Cremation Service in Graham, NC is assisting the family.
