Catherine Mcdaniel Wrightsell

Catherine Wrightsell, 85, passed way on December 16, 2020 at her residence.  She was the daughter of the late Ralph McDaniel and Reba Reese Cook.  Catherine was married to Paul Wrightsell Jr. for 61 years. She loved working in the yard and feeding the birds.

Survivors include her daughters, Paula Crotts (Paul) and Michelle Wrightsell; sister, Carolyn Shelton; four grandchildren, two great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Other than her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Major John Lewis McDaniel Of the U.S. Air Force and her step-father Lacy Cook.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Saturday December 19, 2020 in the McClure Funeral Chapel in Graham.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.  A private burial will take place in Pine Hill Cemetery in Burlington.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Alamance County or perform an act of kindness for someone.
