Cathy Lynn Jenkins

Miss. Cathy Lynn Jenkins, 53, of Cane Creek Rd., Snow Camp, passed away on Monday May 12, 2014 at the Hospice Home and Palliative Care Center in Burlington. A native of Craven County, she is the daughter of the late Frances Sawyer Jarman and Bruce P. Jenkins, who survives, of Newbern, NC. She worked in home healthcare for numerous years and she was a graduate of Virginia College where she graduated with honors. In addition to her father, survivors include her sisters, Evelyn J. Dubois and husband Paul, of Snow Camp and Teresa J. Dahl and husband Michael, of Snow Camp; two nieces and nephews; several loving great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday May 17, 2014 at the Cane Creek Friends Meeting as well as 11:00 Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the Church of God of Prophecy with the Reverend Mark Tope officiating. McClure Funeral Service in Graham, NC is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Alamance/Caswell at 918 Chapel Hill Rd.
