Cecil Edmonds, 86, passed away at Alamance Health Care on February 9, 2020. He was the son of the late Solomon and Angeline Cates Edmonds. Cecil was also a veteran of the U.S Army. He loved riding motorcycles. He never met a stranger. He loved talking about God. Loved his church very much. Loved tinkering on anything with a motor. He was tendered hearted and prayed beautiful prayers.
Survivors include his daughter, Vickie Allen (Jake) of Burlington; son, Terry Chrisco of Florida; a
brother, Ervin Edmonds of Haw River; a special niece Debra Norwood of Burlington; grandson, Shane Wilson of Burlington and several nieces and nephews
Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Betty Edmonds; sisters, Cathaleen Ipock, Frances Moore and Doris Murray; and his brothers, Bryant Edmonds and Joseph Edmonds.
A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Thursday February 13, 2020 at Hebron United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 1-2 on Thursday at the church prior to the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
