Charles Kristofer Alan Foster

Charles Kristofer Alan Foster, 44, passed suddenly in his home on December 9, 2022. Born July 2, 1978 in Alamance County, Kris resided in Orange County and had strong ties in both counties.  Kris loved all things pertaining to history and studied about the history of many different cultures, time periods, and people. He enjoyed sports, games and reading. He was a very big fan of Carolina Hurricanes Ice Hockey, Duke Basketball, and Green Bay Packers Football.

Kris is survived by his mother, Esther Oakes Foster of Efland, NC and his maternal grandmother, Virginia Oakes of Leasburg, NC. He is also survived by his father, Charles Lynn Foster, and step-mother, Patty Foster of Mebane, NC. Kris is survived by his sister, Michele Foster, and his nieces: Sabra Proffitt, Temperance Proffitt, and Aubrey Dodson, all of Mebane, NC. Kris is preceded in death by his grandfathers: Richardson Oakes and Charles Augustus Lindbergh Foster, and his paternal grandmother Hazel Petty Foster.

There will be a cremation memorial service at McClure Funeral Service in Mebane, NC on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at 3:00 PM
