Charles Alvin Hutcherson

Mr. Charles Alvin Hutcherson Sr., 69, of Burlington passed away on August 8, 2023, at his residence. A native of Alamance Co. NC, he was the son of the late Alvin Harvey Hutcherson and Alma Hathaway Chrisco. Charles was a “Jack of All Traits” and was a revered mechanic. No matter the time or circumstances, he was always willing to help others who were in need. He enjoyed his western movies and shows but his pride and joy was his El Camino which will carry his casket to his grave. He was so very proud of his son Charlie for all of his endeavors and accomplishments in life thus far. Charles was a proud veteran of the US Army and loved his country with all of his heart. Survivors include his love, Ruth Jones; his son, Charles Alvin “Charlie” Hutcherson Jr. and wife Amanda; his loving granddaughter, Honesty Hensley; a sister, Faye Aldridge and husband Roger; brothers, Dennis Marshall Cox and wife Julie and Randy Cox and wife Rachelle; a half-sister, Janet Hutcherson, and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving daughter, Sabrina Hensley; a grandchild, Jase Beach; sister, Deborah Adkins, and brother, Harold Lee Hutcherson. A funeral service will  be held at 2:00 PM on Monday August 14, 2023 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham with the Pastor Everett Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM on Sunday August 13, 20-23 at McClure Funeral Home in Graham.
