Charles Jerome Smith

Charles Jerome Smith, 55, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at The Hospice Home of Alamance-Caswell after a quick 3 month battle with lung cancer. He was born August 16, 1966, to the late Silas Patrick Smith and Helen Deweese Smith. Charles was employed as a long-haul truck driver for 7 years at Carolina Tanklines.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by a sister, Ella Ann Hayes, and a brother, Calvin “Butch” Smith.

Charles is survived by a son, Caleb Keeter of the home, a granddaughter, Endica Smith, two sisters, Robin Elaine Griffin and boyfriend Timmy, and Barbara Beam and husband Gene, and two nieces.

A celebration of life will be held at McClure Funeral Service Chapel in Graham beginning at 1:00PM on Friday, April 01, 2022. The family will receive friends for visitation an hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum.
