Charles "Chuck" Walker Couch Sr.

Mr. Charles Walker “Chuck” Couch Sr. age 81, of 4258 Clapp Mill Road, Burlington, NC died 5:50pm Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at the Hospice Home of Burlington after 1 year of critical illness. Born in Alamance County he was the son of the late John Ervin Couch and Josie Johnson Couch. He was retired as a customer service engineer for more than 30 years with IBM repairing main frame computers. Attended Berea Christian Church, member of the American Legion and served in the US Air Force. Family members surviving him are his wife Ann Barber Couch of the home, Sons Charles Walker Couch Jr. and wife Elizabeth Anne of Burlington, Robert James Couch and wife Perdita of Burlington, William Glen Couch and wife Nancy Elaine of Gibsonville, 2 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother Johnny Rudolph Couch, sister Jeanette Couch. The family will receive friends at the McClure Funeral and Cremation Service 1030 South Main Street, Graham, NC Thursday evening from 6pm until 8pm other times at the residence. Funeral Services will be held 3:00pm Friday, October 24, 2014 at the Berea Christian Church with Derick McKinney officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Military Honors.
