Charlie Zack Dunn

MEBANE - Mr. Charlie Zack Dunn Jr., 75 , of 411 West Lee St., Mebane, N.C. passed at his home on Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2013. He was a member of the Agape Baptist Church and a retired diesel technician.Surviving him are his daughters, Holly D. Clayton and husband David of Mebane, Becky Jackson and husband William of Haw River; son, Grady Zack Dunn and wife Bettie of Burlington; grandchildren, Brandon Dunn, Ashley Drue Dunn, Ethen Clayton and wife Kristi, Zack Jackson, Anna Jackson, Bobby Shanklin and Andy Shanklin; great-grandchildren, Jace Clayton, Montgomery Shanklin, Massey Shanklin, Poppi Shanklin; sisters, Marie Grinstead of Graham, Marilyn Nelson of Burlington and Patricia Perry of Burlington.He was born in Orange County, N.C. and was preceded in death by his wife Wanda Andrews Dunn, parents Charlie Zack Dunn Sr. and Thelma Fuqua Dunn, and sisters Bettie Lou Bell, Norma D. Dance and Carolyn Dunn.The family will receive friends at the McClure Funeral Home, 1308 S. Third Street, Mebane, N.C. on Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, from 12:30 until 2 p.m. with the funeral service being held at 2 p.m. in the McClure Chapel. Pastor Brian Biggers will officiate with burial following in the Oakwood Cemetery.The family will also receive friends at other times at the home of Becky and William Jackson, 1104 Trollingwood Road, Haw River, NC.Memorials may be made to the St. Jude's Hospital
