Charlie Wade Wilkinson

MEBANE - Mrs. Charlie Wade Howell Wilkinson, 84 of 459 Cedar Lane, Mebane, NC, passed away at 10:05 pm Friday, February 21, 2014 at Liberty Commons of Burlington. Born in Kings Mountain, South Carolina, she was the wife of the late Robert Graham Wilkinson Jr. and daughter to the late Charles Wade Howell and the late Willa Lee McGhee Boone. Mrs. Wilkinson was retired from Belks Department Store and Melville Chevrolet. She was a member of Hebron United Methodist Church, Mebane, NC. Surviving is a son, Robert "Butch" Wilkinson, and wife BJ, of Mebane, NC; grandchildren Laura Grimes and Lindsay Rosso and companion Angela Rosso; great granddaughter Tanner Grimes; two sisters, Barbara Howell Owen of Gastonia, NC, and Ann Howell Parker, of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and a host of loving nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday February 23, 2014 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel 1308 South Third Street, Mebane, NC. Officiating will be Mr. Doug Wilkinson. The family will receive friends at the funeral from 12:30 pm until service time on Sunday.
