Cheryl Ball Oates

Cheryl Ball Oates, 67, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025. Cheryl was a devoted wife and a wonderful mother whose love for her family was at the center of her life. She found great joy and peace in gardening, which was more than a hobby—it was her passion. She also had a deep love for dogs and took great pleasure in pottery. Her presence brought comfort and beauty to the lives around her, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Timothy Oates of Mebane, North Carolina; and her sons, Anthony Mangus of Weston, Colorado and Josh Mangus of Comox, British Columbia, Canada.
