Christopher Dean Cashion, 60, of Snow Camp passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017 at his residence. He was born in Guilford County to John Edward Cashion, Sr. and Rebecca Touchstone Cashion both deceased. He was employed as a welder. Christopher loved hunting, fishing and gardening. He is survived by his wife: Christine Cashion of the home. Daughters: Jennifer Congdon (Nathan) of Graham and Kendra Doutt (Jason Byerly) of Burlington. Step children: Joyce Wilder of Pittsfield, MA. Joseph Wilder (Anna) and Billy Joe Palmer (Jessica) both of Burlington. Grandchildren: Blake and Ian Congdon, Tage Doutt and Ella Byerly, Holly Poag, Shayla and Zain Kelly. Great grandchildren: Khari, Vencent, and Christopher Poag, Dalilah and Adrian Coghill, Judith Kelly. Brothers: Mike Cashion (Janice) and John Cashion (Jody). Sister: Patty Yow (Randall). Many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 6:00 PM in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham. The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home from 4 PM until 6 PM prior to the service. Other times they will be at the residence and at the residence of his daughter, Jennifer Congdon.
