Christopher Dale Maness (Country)

Christopher "Country" Maness, 51, passed away on July 12, 2025 at East Carolina University Medical Center. He was the son of Janet Parker (Ronald) and Ronnie Maness (Kay).  Other survivors include his son, Christian Maness; step-daughter, Kaylie Lipscomb (Trevor); step-sisters, Christina Robbins and Andrea Parker and his former wife, Kristy Maness.  Chris loved spending time with his son, Christian.  He also enjoyed fishing and being around the bon fire with his friends.  A funeral service will be held at 12pm on July 24, 2025 in the McClure Funeral Chapel in Mebane. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home from 11am-12pm.  Burial will follow in Old Lea Bethel Church Cemetery, 6035 Ridgeville Rd. Leasburg, NC 27291.
