Clarence Julian Cheek

Clarence Julian Cheek, 87, passed away Monday, August 26, 2019 at his residence. Clarence was born in Orange County to Weldon and Bessie Fox Cheek both deceased. He was the husband of Willie Jones Cheek also deceased. He was a retired textile worker. He also served in the Coast Guard and was of the Baptist faith.

Clarence is survived by his: daughter; Donna Cheek Sargent of West Virginia. Stepson; Bobby Jones (Jean) of Mebane. Grandchildren; Tim Jones, Amy Leonard, Trish Jones Valez and Melissa. There is also eight Great Grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents Clarence is also preceded in death by his sisters; Lula Morris and Nellie Sykes. Brothers; John, Joe, James, and Eugene Cheek.

A Memorial service will be Friday, August 30, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane. Officiating will be Rev. Larry Cheek and Rev. Aaron Powers. The family will receive friends following the memorial service and will be available at other times at 3604 Mt. Willing Rd., Mebane, NC, 27302.
