Clarence Olan Welch

Clarence Olan Welch, Jr., 82, of Elon passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at his residence surrounded by family. Clarence was born in Alamance County to Clarence Olan Welch, Sr., and Lena Bell Fisher Welch both deceased. He was the husband of Ann Welch who is also deceased. He was a Vietnam veteran serving  and retired  from the US Army after 24 years of dedicated service. He was also self employed. Clarence is survived by his children; Clarence “Pat” Welch, III(Angie), Michael Welch (Christina), Lori Welch Wilson (Ricky), Bobbi Welch (Jamie), and Eric Welch (Heather). Grandchildren, Kriston, Hunter, Alanie, Aaron, Avery, Logan, Luke, and Chloe. One great granddaughter, Tatum. Sister, Lynette Baxter (Bernie) and a brother, Carl Welch (Dee Dee). In addition to his parents and his wife he is preceded in death by a daughter, Sherry Ann Welch and sister, Pauline Hurley, Dahlia Mae Travis, and Sylvia Welch.

The following grandchildren are honorary pallbearers, Hunter, Logan, Luke, Aaron, and Avery.

A private graveside service will be held Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Pine Hill Cemetery.
