Claude James Jones

Claude James Jones, 70, of Graham died Friday, July 21, 2017 at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill. He was a native of Alamance County, a retired building contractor and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He loved woodworking, gardening, his family and especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, June and Avanell Vincent Jones. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Rogers Jones of the home; children, Lisa Apple and husband Joe of Mebane, Renee Massey and husband Tony of Haw River and Todd Jones and wife Meredith of Boiling Spring Lakes; Sister, Dolores Gaines and husband Wayne of Winston-Salem; 8 grandchildren, Michael Apple, Katelyn Apple, Kyle Apple, Logan Apple, Jordan Massey, Hunter Massey, Lauren Massey and Abby Jones; 4 great grandchildren, Payton Apple, Joseph Apple, Layla Apple and Sarah Apple A service to celebrate his life will be held 12:00PM Tuesday at Bethel Baptist Church by Rev.
