Clinton Lee Turner

Clinton Lee Turner, 68, of Cedar Grove passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025 at Duke University Medical Center. He was a native of Alamance County and retired from Piedmont Electric. He is the son of the late Donald and Edna Mae Romines Turner and the husband of Gillian Lynne Gentry-Turner who survives.

In addition to his wife of the home who survives, he is also survived by daughters Austin Turner, Ashlyn Turner, and Audrey Gentry; brother Ronnie Turner (Donna) of Rougemont; sisters Beatrice Robinson of Durham, Kathleen Cates (Paul) of Efland, and Betty Ann Neems (Roy) of Hillsborough, along with several nieces and nephews.

Clinton loved riding horses, hunting, fishing, old cars, watching football, and spending time with his family.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 16th, at the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Mebane by Pastor Chip Sellew. Burial will follow at Efland UMC Memorial Cemetery at Brookhollow Rd and Lebanon Rd. The family will receive friends at McClure funeral Home in Mebane Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
