Cody Mitchell Carter, 24, of Burlington died Sunday September 1, 2019. He was a native of Alamance County and employed in construction and as a mechanic. He was the son of Charles Edwin Carter, III & Rita Fay Wilson Nickey.
He is survived by his mother & stepfather, Rita and Ralph Nickey of Graham; girlfriend, Marian Hernandez of Burlington; brothers, Chance Carter of Snow Camp and Edwin Carter of Graham; stepbrother, Nathan Nickey of Graham; stepsister, Samantha Nickey of Michigan; Grandparents, Bobby & Kathy Cox of Liberty, Melvin H. Wilson, Jr. & Cindy Wilson of NC; father, Charles Edwin Carter, III of Snow Camp; aunts, Peggy Wilson of Graham, Lisa Rollings of Durham; cousins, Corey Phillips, Jacob Phillips, Samantha Phillips and JT Rollings.
