Constance Amelia (Cobb) Oakley

Mrs. Constance "Connie" Cobb Oakley, 77, of Mebane, went to be with Jesus while surrounded by her family at 8:32 pm on November 30th, 2021, her daughter Paige's birthday. What a blessing and final birthday gift to give her daughter. She was a lover of animals which, in her lifetime, included many dogs cats and fish, a skunk, a snake, a duck, a chicken, a rabbit and a horse just to name a few. She loved all God's creatures. She loved her family and friends and she loved the Lord. She would give you the shirt off her back. We celebrate the fact that she is free and at peace. Her struggle is now over.

Constance was preceded in death by her father, Russell Aubrey Cobb, her mother, Mary "Lib" Elizabeth Cobb, and a brother Russell Aubrey Cobb.

Mrs. Oakley is survived by her two children, Paige Oakley Anderson and Redmond Scott Oakley, and her brothers and sisters, Zona Cobb Ridout, Carolyn (Sugar) Cobb Dunlap, and Charles Arnold Cobb.

There will be a private memorial service after Christmas. Please keep the family in your prayers during this holiday season.
