Crystal Dawn Crisp

Crystal Dawn Crisp 45, of Burlington, NC passed away on January 29, 2025, at her residence. A native of Orange Co. NC, she is the daughter of Fay Ann Simmons Kirkpatrick and Jesse Junior Howard and wife Gladys who all survive. Crystal had a special love for her family and friends. She was a very family-oriented person, but nothing put a smile on her face like her grandchildren and her dogs. She enjoyed sitting on the porch having her Mountain Dew while listening to her birds and watching her crazy squirrels chase each other. Crystal will forever be remembered for her selfless heart and her infectious sense of humor as her laugh would brighten up any room. Crystal never met a stranger and would always put the needs of others above her own. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving children, Daphne M. Crisp and Hurley L. Crisp; her grandchildren, Carter Jones, and Amira Beasley; her boyfriend, Jerry Lunsford; sisters, Tammy Wilkinson and husband Dennis, and Ashley Myers; a step brother, Melvin Cox; her nieces and nephews, Shania Watlington, Brittany Wilkinson, Brandy Howard, Stephanie Franklin, Brent Wilkinson, and her many loving great nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday February 1, 2025, at the Oak Grove Baptist Church in Mebane with the Pastors Delmar Breeze officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Friday January 31, 2025, at the McClure Funeral Home in Mebane.
