GRAHAM, N.C. - Curtis Ray Murray, 63, of 105 West River Street, died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014, at the Hospice Home. He was a native of Nash County, retired from the textile industry and as a truck driver.He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis Miley Murray and Christine Whitley Murray; and a granddaughter, Kristy Freeman.Surviving are his wife, Shelby Jean Murray, of the home; son, David Lee Murray of Graham; daughter, Angela Martin of Whitsett; brothers, Daniel Rick Murray of Burlington and Eugene Murray of Kinston; grandchildren, Chastin Murray, Gage Murray, Jeffrey Freeman, Corey Presley and Tiffany Presley; and five great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3, 2014, in the Mausoleum Chapel of Alamance Memorial Park by Hospice Chaplain Danny Green. The family will receive friends at the residence.
