Cynthia Aldridge Andrews

Cynthia Aldridge Andrews, 78, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 5, 2025, after a few years of declining health.  A native of Alamance County, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late L.B. Aldridge Jr. and Katherine “Kat” Aldridge.  Cindy was also preceded in death by her brother, L.B. “Benny” Aldridge III and a niece, Lisa Aldridge Revels. Cindy retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina after 34 years. She also worked as an escort at Holiday Tours for 9 years. She enjoyed going on cruises, playing Bingo and making fudge and brownies. Cindy loved all of her friends and family unconditionally and never met a stranger. She was honored to have two church families that she loved; Her home church, Hico Baptist and her son’s church, Calvary Baptist Tabernacle. Cindy is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Thomas “Tommy” Andrews; daughter, Tina Andrews, and son, Ronnie Andrews (Lori). She is also survived by her brothers  and sisters, Mike Aldridge (Linda), Pam Aldridge, Keenan Aldridge (Judy) and Rita Clinard (J.R);  grandchildren that she loved with her whole heart, Blake Edwards (Hannah), Elena Andrews (Hunter), Braxton Faulkner (Abi) and Jaxon Andrews; great grandchildren, Hayes and Stetson Edwards. She was also expecting her third great grandchild in September, and a sister in-law, Judy Aldridge, whom she loved like a sister. Cindy also had many nieces, nephews and cousins whom she adored.  A funeral service will be held at 3pm on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at Hico Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends on Sunday at the church prior to the service from 1:30pm-3:00pm.  Burial will follow in Moore’s Chapel Cemetery.  At other times the family will be at the residence,  5855 Swepsonville Saxpahaw Rd. Graham, NC 27253.
