Burlington Dale Fleming Whitt, 62, of Burlington died Saturday, April 2, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Oak Harbor, Whidbey Island WA, formerly employed by Gold Toe Hosiery and was currently employed with ARCA in Mebane and was a member of The Lamb’s Chapel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Flem O. Whitt, Jr. & Noma Lee Barrett Whitt. He is survived by his wife, Bridget Clinard Whitt; sons, Adam Whitt & wife Lynette, Luke Whitt & wife Jenny; grandsons, Preston, Jake, Pierce and Barrett Whitt; brothers, David(his twin brother) & wife Pam, Mark Whitt & wife Allyson; nieces, Jan Parker & husband Jordan, Jennifer Morgan & husband Nick; great nieces, Avery Morgan and Bella Parker; great nephew, Brody Morgan A memorial service to celebrate his life will be 2:00 PM Monday at The Lamb’s Chapel by Rev. Brian Biggers. The Family will receive friends at the church following the service. The family would like to thank family and friends for their love and support over the last two years, the Duke Brain Tumor Center, Hospice of Alamance/Caswell and the owners and employees of ARCA in Mebane.
