BURLINGTON - Mr. Danny G. Jordan, 65, passed away Sunday, Sept. 13, 2015, at the VA Hospital in Durham. Danny was a Vietnam veteran, serving in the Army. He was a member of the World of Pentecost Church.He is survived by his son, Danny Jordan Jr. and wife Heather; daughters, Janice Jordan and Julie Poe and husband Justin; stepsons, Doug Clayton and wife Suzie and Brad Clayton and wife Michelle; stepdaughter, Sharon Clayton; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Beanie Gravitte; and brother, Terry Jordan and wife Shirley.He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Johanna Jordan; and a brother, Frank Jordan.A service will be conducted Friday, Sept. 18th, at 2 p.m. in the McClure Funeral Chapel in Graham with burial to follow in the Phillips Chapel Church cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Kenny Godair. The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
