Danny Lee Reaves

Mr. Danny Lee Reaves 75, of Haw River, NC passed away on February 24, 2025 at his residence. A native of Person Co. NC he was born on January 20, 1950 to the late Elvin Reaves Sr. and Frances Lunsford Reaves. Danny was a very unique individual and was a one of a kind man. He retired from Cone Mills with 25 years of service. Danny enjoyed gardening, keeping up his yard, and just being outside. Over the years, he and Pam loved their beach trips, going out to eat or just a drive through town. Danny loved his family, especially his grandchildren but he was the happiest just being home where he could always help his family, friends and neighbors. Survivors include his loving wife, Pam Dodson Reaves; his children, Angel Neighbors and husband Joey, Bobby Lee Reaves, Danny Christopher Reaves, Gary Anderson Woods and Fiancé Leah Edwards, and Todd Michael and wife Tonya; his grandchildren, Summer, Katelynn, Harlan, Nicholas, Jordyn, Samantha, Kaleb, Bryce, and Braylee; great grandchildren, Auri and Riley; his sisters, Shirley Manning and husband Nick, Vickie Teague and husband, Gene, and Shelby Temple; a brother, Ted Reaves and wife LeAnne, and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Kathy Wilson, Frances “Tootie” Brooks, and Peggy Futrell; brothers, Elvin William Reaves Jr. and Charles Ray Reaves. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday February 28, 2025 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane with the Pastor Buck Garrison officiating. Burial will follow in Graham Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to AuthoraCare Hospice at 918 Chapel Hill Rd. Burlington, NC 27217.
