Danny Carlile Wilson

Mr. Danny C. Wilson passed away on Thursday October 19, 2017. A native of Alamance County, NC, he was the son of the late Donald and Jean Walker Wilson. His love was animals especially when it came to his dogs, Little Fella and Ryder. He was a graduate of Person Senior High School and was a proud veteran of the US navy, serving after he graduated from High School. He enjoyed dancing and listing to music as well as racing and he was an avid Tar Heel football fan. He would watch lifetime movie network and he loved watching western movies. He loved the water and spending time at Hyco Lake with family and friends skiing or just sitting in the sun. He was known for his big heart and putting others before himself. Survivors include his daughters, Terri C. Wilson (Richard Ramsey), of Semora, Laura Wilson Glode (Bruce) of Burlington; son, Michael Wilson (Desiree), of Greensboro; grandchildren, Tiffany, Megan, Jordan, Kaden, Taylor and Caitlyn; great grandson, Hunter; sister, Denise Day, of Semora; nieces and nephews, Kristen and Tyler; great niece, Kylie and many loving cousins and friends.
