Davadia Cook Faucette, 92, of Haw River died Tuesday, February 20 at her residence. She was a native of Greenville County, SC, Retired from Cone Mills, a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Mebane since she was 16 years old where she also served as a Sunday School Teacher, a member of the Choir and the Women’s Missionary Society. She also enjoyed trips with her family, working in her garden and feeding the birds. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Braxton and Lula Byrd Cook; husband, Robert “David” Faucette; daughter, Diana Bare Seawell; 3 sisters and 5 brothers.
She is survived by her daughters, Jane Wagoner and husband Bobby of Haw River and Theresa Mace and husband Phil of Haw Efland; sister, Belvia Snow of Haw River; 8 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate her life will be 2:00 PM Saturday, February24, 2018 at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Mebane by Pastor Chip Sellew. Burial will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Mebane 6:00 – 8:00 Friday night other times at the residence.
