David "Rabbit" Franklin Riley

Mr. David “Rabbit” Riley, 78, of Haw River passed away at home on July 14, 2020 surrounded by his family.  He was the son of the late Marvin and Flonnie Gregory Riley.  Rabbit had a love for cars and motorcycles. He loved going on beach trips with his family, especially with his wife of 33 years Diana.  People always left him in a better mood than when they came because he always had a smile on his face. He put people’s needs in front of his and fixed everything with duct tape. Other than his wife he is survived by his daughter, Dawn Riley; sons, Kevyn and Gene Riley, grandchildren; Gracie, Avelyn, Dawson and Harper Riley, sisters; Linda Lunsford (Wayne) and Secdall Riley, brothers; Thomas Riley (Gayle), Clinton Riley (Jan) and Dale Riley (Sallie). Other than his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherri Rene Riley.  A celebration of life service will be held at Bethel Baptist Church in Graham on Tuesday, July 21,2020 at 6:00p.m. The family will receive friends following the service.
