David Lindy Haith

David Lindy Haith, 89, passed away at home on December 31, 2021.  He was the son of the late Levi Walter Haith and Mary Mae Holt Haith.  Survivors include his wife, Shirley Haith; sons, David Haith Jr.(Tracy) and Steve Haith; sisters, Lillian Sanders, Ida Haithcock and Ann Hall; a brother, Walter Haith; grandchildren, Sara Smith, Jessica Haith and Amy Haith; great grandchildren, Corbin Smith, Daylin Smith, Peyton Elkins and Adley Elkins; and great great grandchildren, Spencer Smith and Carter Wills.  Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, George and Ernest Haith.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday January 5, 2022 from 5-7 at McClure Funeral Service in Mebane, other times they will be at the home of his sister Ann Hall.  A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Thursday January 6, 2022 in the McClure Funeral Chapel in Mebane.  Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Christian Church Cemetery.
